Co-ord Sets for Women: The Complete Buying Guide
Share
Somewhere in the last few years, the co-ord set quietly became the smartest purchase in Indian womenswear — and for one simple reason: it is a complete outfit that thinks for you. Matching top and bottom, one print, zero decisions. This guide covers everything worth knowing before you buy one: the silhouettes, the fabrics, the fit questions, and how to make one set work like four outfits.
What exactly counts as a co-ord set?
A co-ord (co-ordinated) set is a top and bottom cut from the same fabric and print, designed to be worn together. Ours come in three silhouettes: shirt + shorts (the easiest, breeziest version), shirt + skort (the polish of a skirt with the practicality of shorts underneath — the sleeper hit of our range), and shirt + trouser or skirt sets for days that need more coverage. Browse all of them in our co-ord set collection — over 30 exclusive prints, every one designed in-house and never repeated.
Why co-ords beat buying separates
Three reasons. First, proportion is solved for you — the top length is cut for that exact bottom, so the silhouette works without a mirror session. Second, each piece moonlights as a separate: the shirt goes over jeans on Tuesday, the skort pairs with a white tee on Sunday, and the full set is your travel outfit on Friday. One purchase, four outfits. Third, a matching print reads deliberate — the "put-together" effect that usually takes twenty minutes of styling arrives in one zip.
The fabric question
Every Print Factory co-ord is cut from 100% breathable fabric — organic cotton poplin for structure, and softer weaves where drape matters — with the same anti-bleed, anti-peel, anti-shrink promise as the rest of the range. That last part matters more for co-ords than anything else you own: the top and bottom must age identically, wash after wash, or the set stops matching. Because we dye and print in-house, both pieces come off the same fabric roll — the colour cannot drift apart.
Getting the fit right
Co-ord shirts follow the same sizing as our shirts — S (36") to 2XL (48") — and skorts and shorts run S to 2XL alongside. The two pieces are sized independently on most sets, so if you are a M on top and an L below, you can pick exactly that. Check the size chart for garment measurements, or shop your size directly: S · M · L · XL · 2XL.
Where a co-ord takes you
Brunch, obviously — but that undersells it. A skort set with sneakers is a sightseeing uniform; the same set with block heels and gold hoops is dinner. A shorts set is the beach-holiday answer; swap the shorts for jeans and the printed shirt reads city-smart. The buying checklist
Before you add to cart, three quick checks: pick a print with at least one neutral in it (so the separated pieces pair with what you own), make sure the fabric is breathable if you plan full-day wear, and check both pieces' measurements — not just the top. Plenty of our sets sit in the Under ₹2,000 edit, and new prints land every Friday. Free shipping across India, COD available, 7-day returns — and if you're in Mumbai, try them on in person at our Kala Ghoda store.
