How To Read Our Size Chart (And Never Order The Wrong Size Again)
Share
Nothing takes the joy out of a new shirt faster than opening the packet and finding it does not fit. The good news: our sizing is simple once you know how to read it, and this guide takes two minutes.
What the numbers mean
Every size on our product pages carries a chest measurement in inches — for example S (36"), M (39"), L (42"), XL (45") and 2XL (48"). That number is the garment's chest width all the way around, not your body measurement. Our shirts are cut for a relaxed regular fit, so the garment is already a little wider than the body it is made for.
How to measure yourself
Take a measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight. Note the number in inches. Now add 2–3 inches of breathing room — that total is the garment chest you should look for. If your chest measures 34", a 36" shirt gives you a classic regular fit; a 39" gives you a relaxed, slightly oversized drape.
Between sizes?
If you land between two sizes, think about how you like to wear your shirts. Size down for a neater, tucked-in look for work. Size up if you prefer an easy, breezy fit, plan to layer over a camisole, or are buying a crepe style that drapes close to the body.
Check the product page
Every product page lists the shirt length and sleeve length in the specification table, and notes the size our model is wearing (she is 170 cm and usually wears a size S). Use those two references together and you will land on the right size almost every time.
